Let’s pause for a second here and reflect upon this development which is that Renault and Nissan have jointly signed a contract for installing their electric cars and their corresponding facilities of charging in 18000 hotels in Japan only.
It is to be noted that the AJRA would have a hand in the promotion of travel packages across their member’s hotels and would be in a position to publicize the eco-friendly transport and electric car insurance by linking it to accommodation and some of the tours for promoting sales and also with events to test drive, which is definitely a huge step to take in just one country alone.
This plan can be imitated in the entire hospitality industry in any place, by using it to transport their guests from one hotel to another hotel of the same group thereby promoting occupation of the hotels, promoting them, promoting electric car insurance, also helping the tourism industry to flourish and at the same time using and promoting a environment friendly transport.
More organizations which own these charging facilities now can publicize their facilities and promote them by integrating these into the maps of their area or nation.
Till date the Renault and Nissan venture is the only that is announced to the public, but without any doubt there would definitely be other companies that would be venturing into this business elsewhere.
If in case, an worldwide expansion of such ventures occur, then it would result in a milestone in the industry of electric cars, electric car insurance and thanks to Renault and Nissan, there would be hundreds and thousands of opportunities across the world for such joint ventures.
